High-Pressure Air Drying from 500 to 900 psig (34.5 to 62 bar) The Hankison HPRD Series refrigerated dryers provide consistently dry compressed air for high pressure applications up to 900 psig (63 bar) maximum working pressure. Typical applications for these dryers would include PET blow molding, aeronautical valve and control testing, pharmaceutical testing and packaging, and injection molding. The HPRD Series dryers feature smooth surface, self-cleaning, copper heat exchangers that maintain a reliable 38°F (3°C) pressure dew point and low system pressure drop for the life of the unit, without requiring a prefilter. Staged separation, which removes large liquid loads and prevents moisture reentrainment, coupled with programmable electronic timed drains, ensures complete condensate management. The hermetically sealed refrigeration system, featuring environmentally friendly HFC refrigerants and energy efficient compressors, closely controls evaporator temperature, even during rapid load changes. This guarantees the consistently dry air required by PET blow molding and other high pressure applications.
