Most suspension systems disrupt a bike’s entire forward momentum by allowing the impact of even the smallest bumps to redirect the rear portion of the bike directly upwards in effort to clear the obstacle in its path. The XLT Quad-Link system is smarter than that.

The QUAD XLT suspension system works on a four pivot, floating swingarm principle, with the path of the rear axle tuned to cancel out pedaling forces and conform to terrain effectively. Working in conjunction with Fox's DHX rear shocks, the suspension can be set up super firm for big hits and jumping, supple for maximum traction, and everywhere in between.

The frame is constructed of Hydroformed 6061-T6 EDGE II Plus tubing, for maximum durability under the most extreme circumstances. The swingarm, which features replaceable, exchangeable dropouts capable of accepting standard 135mm QR hubs or 150 x 12mm through-axle setups, rides on a set of eight aircraft grade, continuous duty sealed cartridge bearings. The bearings are backed by a 10-year warranty. The Quakes feature an un-interrupted seat-tube, which allows for full seat height adjustment, and an adjustable bottom bracket feature, which allows the rider to dial in the BB height and headtube angle.

Utilizing its INTELLIGENT WHEEL PATH, the Quad-Link swingarm instantly increases the bike's overall wheel base thus allowing the front end of the bike, and its momentum, to continue forward uninhibited. Next, guided by the INSTANTANEOUS PIVOT CENTER, the swingarm efficiently moves the rear wheel over the obstacle. Always in contact with the terrain, the wheel takes the fastest and shortest path through the terrain and ultimately returns to rejoin the front end’s forward momentum.
