Mai Lim Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. has its humble beginning in 1986 when it was known as Syarikat Makanan Mai Lim. In year 2000, the company name has been changed to Mai Lim Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. The core business of the company is producing frozen food using high quality processed minced fish meat ('Surimi') and other frozen seafood. Our factory is equipped with state-of-the-art processing and freezing facilities from German and Japan to ascertain that the food served to you are most appetizing and palatable.  

In 2003, Mai Lim Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. has obtained the ISO 9001:2000 from the renown British accreditation body-UKAS; and at the same time our food products also have been classified 'HALAL' by JAKIM (Islamic Development Department of Malaysia) Meanwhile, we also have been certified with HACCP System by Moody International for production of frozen 'Surimi' based products (Registration No: 0309011H). These reflect that our food have already attained international quality standard.

We enjoy a robust growth over the past decade where frozen 'Surimi' based product lovers from throughout Southeast Asia have frequent repeat orders for our nutritious seafood products throughout the year. Today, you can buy Mai Lim frozen 'Surimi' based products in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippine, etc… and we are in the midst of exploring further frontiers in other countries around the world.

Network and Expansion

The secret of success lies behind is the close relationship between Mai Lim and distributors. Forecast and accomplishment in global market depends on Mai Lim’s proactive marketing role which is vastly distributed in East and West Malaysia, exported to Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand and Brunei. In the near future, Mai Lim is aggressively eyeing on the Middle Eastern and EU market.

Currently, Mai Lim has purchased a 50,000sq ft industrial land in Shah Alam to build a manufacturing factory to accommodate the rising demand.
